Summary

This study analyzed the trends in the English pedagogy section of the secondary school English teacher recruitment exam from 2015 to 2019 using text mining and semantic network analysis. The results showed that ‘student’ had the highest frequency, and the frequency of words related to productive skills such as ‘task’ and ‘writing’ also increased. Furthermore, ‘student’ showed high degree and betweenness centrality, and other words contributing to connections and topic expansion were identified.
