Summary
This study investigated the mediating effects of depression and self-compassion on the relationship between perfectionism and academic procrastination in children. The results showed that perfectionism influences depression and academic procrastination, and depression and self-compassion mediate this relationship. Notably, the mediating effects differed depending on the sub-factors of perfectionism, with compulsiveness not significantly mediating the relationship between academic procrastination and depression.
