『팥죽 할머니와 호랑이』 민담과 옛이야기 그림책의 등장인물 비교

Summary
This study analyzed the characteristics of the grandmother, tiger, and helpers in the folk tale “Red Bean Porridge Grandmother and Tiger” and its picture book adaptations. The results showed that the grandmother's psychological characteristics were mainly ‘sorrow’ in the tales and texts of picture books, while ‘joy’ was more common in the pictures. The tiger was depicted as ‘threatening’ in the tales and as both ‘threatening’ and ‘funny’ in the picture books. Differences were also observed in the anthropomorphism of the tiger and the types of helpers between the tales and picture books.
