Summary

This study investigated the factors improving elementary and secondary students’ positive experiences about science (PES) through in-depth interviews with 32 students and 8 teachers from 8 Science Core schools. The analysis revealed eight key factors influencing student’s PES, including ‘practice-centered exploratory activities’ and ‘student-led class’, along with five supporting environmental factors.
