Summary

This study analyzed the inquiry activities in the Life Science Ⅱ textbooks based on the 2009 and 2015 revised science curricula, comparing the changes in inquiry activities between the two curricula. The analysis revealed that the 2015 revised curriculum textbooks had decreased page numbers and inquiry activities, but increased inquiry activities of SA, IP, and EX types, emphasizing various student-centered inquiry learning.
