This study examined the levels of job-seeking stress, depression, and entrapment in university students, and the mediating effect of entrapment on the relationship between job-seeking stress and depression. The results showed that job-seeking stress partially influenced depression through entrapment, suggesting the need for educational and counseling programs to reduce entrapment to alleviate depression in university students.
