Summary

This study analyzes the current status of the curriculum operation in secondary vocational education for training nursing assistants, whose demand is increasing in the medical field, and seeks ways to improve it. Analysis of curriculum data from 55 high schools offering nursing assistant training programs in 2019 revealed a continuous increase in nursing-related departments, with specialized high schools constituting the majority. The study identified difficulties in clinical practice operation and highlighted the need for developing a standard model for curriculum quality control and improving clinical practice regardless of school type and major.
