Summary

This study discusses the determinants of decapitation operations in modern warfare. With the introduction of technologies such as ISR and PGM, it has become easier to identify and strike the enemy’s center of gravity, increasing the likelihood of successful decapitation operations against strategic individuals. Decapitation operations can be executed against the army, government, and people, and are categorized as military, political, and leadership decapitation.
