Summary

This study aimed to develop and validate a vocabulary test based on curriculum-based assessment to identify students at risk for reading learning disabilities and provide individualized information for intervention planning. The developed test was found to be suitable for identifying at-risk readers with high reliability and validity, based on an analysis of 813 elementary school students. Specifically, spelling and word recognition were the most effective types for identifying at-risk readers.
