Summary

This study analyzed the effects of resistance training using EMS on electromyography, musculoskeletal function, and hormonal changes in college students. The results showed significant increases in body weight for male subjects and skeletal muscle mass for female subjects, along with improvements in elbow joint muscle strength and levels of testosterone and growth hormone, and a decrease in cortisol levels.
