Summary

This study analyzes the evolutionary aspects of Yeom Sang-seop's *Mansejeon* and explores ways to apply them to novel education. The ‘cemetery’ in the work is depicted as a space of survival competition and natural selection, and evolutionary awareness is revealed through the changing perspective of Lee In-hwa. It suggests the possibility of educational activities that interpret the work from an evolutionary perspective and develop literary sociological imagination.
