Summary

This study explored the counseling experience of university students participating in co-leader group counseling using a phenomenological approach, revealing that the relationship with the co-leader is a core theme. The students experienced finding the meaning of counseling while maintaining a balance with themselves, group members, and co-leaders. The results identified essential themes such as ‘Unexpected gift’, ‘Luggage carried together’, ‘A world separate from the leader’, and ‘Find a safe place’.
