Summary

This study aimed to compare the emergency experience, emergency knowledge, and emergency coping ability of caregivers in nursing homes and group homes to provide basic data for developing customized emergency education programs. The results showed significant differences between the facility group and the group home group in emergency experience, first aid personnel, emergency knowledge, and emergency coping ability. Additionally, a positive correlation was found between emergency experience and emergency coping ability in the facility group.
