Summary

This study examined the impact of dementia experience, social support, and health literacy on dementia attitude among the elderly. The results showed that dementia experience was related to the cognitive, emotional, and behavioral domains of dementia attitude, while social support had a negative association with the cognitive domain and a positive association with the emotional and behavioral domains. Notably, health literacy was found to moderate the relationship between social support and dementia attitude.
