A Study on Theological Students’ Perception of Artificial Intelligence and the Christian Educational Implications

Author

Journal Title

Publication Year

Summary

This study examined and analyzed the perception of Artificial Intelligence (AI) among 220 theological students at major seminaries in Korea. The results showed that theological students generally agreed with the academic relevance of AI or the need for education on AI, but had a low perception of its impact on the church. This recognition may reflect an awareness of AI’s importance in society alongside a belief that it will not significantly threaten the church.
