Summary

This study developed six types of educational materials for making motion-type magnetic toys and applied them to 20 elementary school students in 3rd and 4th grades for 6 weeks to investigate changes in science learning motivation and perceptions of science. The results showed improvements in interest and cognitive characteristics related to science, with the most significant effect observed in self-efficacy and value among science learning motivations. It is expected that these teaching-learning materials will contribute to improving science learning motivation and perceptions of science.
