Summary

This study analyzed domestic and international related laws to explore the direction of improving the learning disabilities clause of the revised Special Education Act. It proposes a revision of the Special Education Act to cover not only students diagnosed with disabilities but also students who need educational support in general classrooms, in line with the changing special education paradigm, and presents specific revision proposals through analysis of laws related to the concept, diagnosis, screening, placement, and teacher training of learning disabilities.
