Summary

This study compared the effects of different teacher types (native English, native Korean, co-teaching) on young learners’ interest, motivation/attitude, and confidence in early childhood English education. The results showed that interest was significantly improved only in the co-teaching class, while motivation/attitude increased in all classes. Confidence increased in the native English and Korean teacher classes, but not in the co-teaching class.
