Summary

This study confirmed the effectiveness of auriculotherapy in reducing blood pressure in rural elderly women with hypertension. Significant reductions in systolic and diastolic blood pressure, and subjective symptoms were observed in the experimental group, while diastolic blood pressure increased in the control group. These findings suggest that auriculotherapy can be an effective treatment for blood pressure management in hypertensive patients.
