Summary

This study aims to understand the spatial characteristics of school in Hannah Arendt’s view of education. Arendt, who sought the reason for the existence of politics in freedom, took a conservative view on education, considering school as a pre-political space. The study suggests an analogy with Nietzsche’s ‘camel-lion-child’ to promote understanding of Arendt’s conservative educational view.
