This study presents a corpus-based analysis of Secondary School English Teacher Recruitment Exams (SETRE) from 2002 to 2020, assigning CEFR levels, investigating GSL and AWL coverage, and generating a list of high-frequency words. The results indicate that all exams were above the C1 level, and the GSL and AWL coverage was 90.37%, falling short of the optimal range.
