Summary
This study analyzed the effect of a computational thinking-based SSI education program on improving students' computational thinking competencies. The results showed that students' perception of computational thinking and especially the abstraction ability to selectively use data significantly improved after the program application, and information discernment and evidence-based reasoning abilities were also enhanced.
