Summary

This study analyzed the career activity experiences of vocational high school students and explored the impact of school career education and students’ individual and family backgrounds on these experiences. The results showed that career education in vocational high schools mainly consisted of teacher counseling and expert consultations, and students primarily explored career information through counseling with their homeroom teachers. Furthermore, students’ individual characteristics and family backgrounds significantly influenced their career activity experiences, even beyond school-provided career education opportunities.
