Summary

This study aims to derive necessary teacher evaluation items and standards for implementing an international teaching practicum evaluation system by comparing teacher certification standards and teaching practicum evaluation items in Korea and the United States. A comparison of CAEP and AAQEP evaluation criteria with the international teaching practicum evaluation items of U University in the US and G University of Education in Korea revealed that CAEP and AAQEP evaluation items are reflected in the evaluation items of both universities, and additional evaluation items reflecting the characteristics of each university also exist.
