Summary

This study text-semiotically analyzes the unit configuration of Korean language textbooks, examining the intertextuality between texts and the structuring of teaching and learning content. The analysis revealed that combining a specific person's narrative with teaching and learning content and repeatedly providing target sentence patterns and communicative functions efficiently delivers input to learners.
