Summary

This study analyzed children’s picture books to explore their potential for use in consumer and economic education programs and discuss their usefulness as educational materials. The analysis of 28 picture books revealed that they offer educational insights into various topics related to the roles of workers, buyers, and consumer citizens. Therefore, actively utilizing picture books is necessary to enhance children’s economic understanding and consumer competence.
