Summary

This research explored the possibility of implementing transformative global citizenship education in schools by utilizing the characteristics of play, and analyzed classes using play through the learning community of lead teachers. The analysis revealed that play was effectively applied to the socio-emotional, behavioral, and practical domains of global citizenship education learning objectives, emphasizing transformative teaching methods such as respect for diversity, active participation, and real-life connection.
