Summary

This study analyzes the storytelling of good and evil in the film from a hermeneutical perspective through the Buddhist theory of violence. Killing to block Karma is an act to break the cycle of reincarnation in Buddhism, which advocates non-violence, and good and evil are determined relatively according to human belief rather than as an absolute dichotomy. This analysis is expected to contribute to the production of film content storytelling techniques and interdisciplinary research.
