Summary

This study investigated the factors of talent management that influence extra-role behavior and work engagement of Generation X employees in the hotel industry. The results showed that ‘talent management mindset’ and ‘fair rewards’ had a positive effect on extra-role behavior, and extra-role behavior was a significant factor in increasing the work engagement of Generation X employees.
