Summary

This study experimentally investigated the effect of teacher feedback on the Korean writing skills and self-efficacy of international students. After providing specific and positive feedback, improvements in students’ writing scores were observed, along with statistically significant changes in ‘Ideation’ and ‘Self-regulation’ aspects of writing self-efficacy. Students reported that the teacher’s feedback helped them identify their strengths and weaknesses and gain confidence in their writing.
