Summary

This study aims to analyze convergence education programs linked to the Korean language subject in schools and explore directions for their development. The analysis revealed that these programs were biased towards multi-disciplinary convergence centered on themes, and Korean language elements were often used as tools to understand other subjects rather than addressing the core content of Korean language education. To address these issues, establishing Big Ideas as mediating elements of convergence and focusing on program designs centered on the Korean language are crucial.
