Summary

This study analyzed the impact of social media tourism information on tourists’ empathy, identification, participation, sharing, and spreading behaviors based on the SIPS model. Survey results from users of social media information about Haengridan-gil revealed that the value of social media tourism information positively affects empathy, which in turn leads to identification behavior, participation behavior, and ultimately sharing and spreading behaviors.
