Summary

This study analyzed the impact of activity restriction on the mental health and quality of life of cardiovascular disease patients using KNHANES data. Activity restriction was associated with increased stress, depression, and suicidal ideation, as well as difficulties in mobility, self-care, and daily activities, leading to a decreased quality of life. Based on these findings, the study suggests the development and implementation of effective physical activity promotion programs to improve the mental health and quality of life of cardiovascular patients.

질병과 죽음은 인간이 보편적으로 겪는 삶의 과정이다. 동시에 고령화와 말기경로의 변화로 의사는 환자의 생애 말기와 임종에 깊이 개입하고 있고, 정신의학의 역할도 점차 중요해지고 있다. 본 교과목은 생애말기와 임종, 사별과 관련된 이슈들을 정신의학의 관점에서 통합적으로 탐구한다. 죽음에 대한 다학제간 이해와 생애말기돌봄 시스템, 삶의 의미와, 죽음의 방식, 조력임종 등 임종기에 대두되는 윤리적, 실존적 문제들과 의사소통을 다루고, 완화정신의학의 관점에서 질병과 임종을 대하는 인간의 심리와 주요 정신건강문제, 죽음 이후 사별애도의 양상과 개입에 대해서 심도 깊게 다루는 과정임.
