Summary

This study analyzed the differences in packaging preferences between Korean and Chinese instant noodle consumers following changes in consumption trends after the COVID-19 pandemic. The results of the questionnaire survey and statistical analysis showed that Korean consumers preferred bag-shaped packaging, while Chinese consumers preferred container-type packaging. These findings can serve as important reference material for instant noodle companies to determine appropriate packaging designs for the Korean and Chinese markets.
