Summary

This study analyzed the use of instruction criticism communities in pre-service teacher education to explore changes in pre-service teachers’ perceptions and perspectives on teaching. The analysis revealed that the instruction criticism community enabled pre-service teachers to share experiences and insights, allowing for diverse interpretations and experiences of differing perspectives on instruction. The study confirmed the need for diverse instructional criticism videos and correction of misconceptions for the meaningful utilization of instruction criticism communities in the future.
