Summary

This study analyzed domestic research papers on art therapy for adults with developmental disabilities from 2001 to 2020 to examine research trends. Studies related to intellectual disability were most common, and quantitative research, single-group experimental studies, and studies focused on emotional and psychological aspects were prevalent. Research utilizing art therapy techniques and mixed media using various art materials were frequently observed.
