Summary
This study examined the factors influencing the quality of life of the elderly using aging panel data. The results showed that depression negatively affects quality of life, while cultural activities, volunteering, assets, employment, and social gatherings positively impact it. These findings offer important implications for establishing elderly welfare policies.
