Summary

This study conducted a narrative research on a journalist from a national daily newspaper who recently completed apprentice training to explore the problems of apprentice reporter training practices in the media. The results showed that disorganized apprenticeship, lack of expertise, and coercive military culture negatively affected the journalist's organizational adaptation. Therefore, the study suggests reorganizing apprentice reporter training to emphasize expertise and autonomy, and establishing a systematic education system.
