This study investigated the effects of parenting attitude on early adolescents’ life satisfaction through the mediating roles of parent-child conversation time and self-directed learning. The results showed that parenting attitude positively influenced parent-child conversation time and self-directed learning, which in turn enhanced life satisfaction in early adolescents. Furthermore, parenting attitude had a direct impact on life satisfaction even after controlling for the mediating variables.
