Summary

This study analyzes Korean cities and national spaces from the perspective of “inclusiveness” to resolve conflicts in urban spaces and pursue sustainable development. The analysis revealed that urban inclusiveness was low in cities with small populations and in rural areas, while cities along the Gyeongbu line (Seoul, metropolitan area, Daejeon, Daegu, and Busan) showed high inclusiveness. Factors such as fewer households receiving basic needs, lower ratios of old housing, more rental housing, and better access to public services were found to increase urban inclusiveness.
