By analyzing Uigwe and kyebyŏng, the study clarifies how each screen was used for specific royal members and identifies the roles of screens, Uigwe, and kyebyŏng as a triptych for recording and reproducing royal events, ultimately revealing the Joseon royal family’s visualization of Yechi (rule by rites).
