This study analyzes the employment effects of value-added exports on each province and industry in South Korea. Regional input-output analysis reveals a declining trend in the impact of value-added exports on employment in most regions and industries, while specific industries in Ulsan and Gyeongnam showed an increase. Gyeongbuk and Gyeongnam exhibit high contribution rates, suggesting policymakers should consider regional and industry levels when establishing policy.
