This study analyzed the relationship between BCI and the steel industry using VECM with data from March 1999 to March 2021. The analysis revealed that raw material prices in the steel industry significantly influence BCI, particularly iron ore prices, which have a long-term significant relationship with BCI. Furthermore, a correlation was identified where world crude steel production is affected by BCI.
