Summary

This study aimed to develop evaluation items based on Parten's social play developmental stages to measure social play in preschool children and verify content validity. Through Delphi research and expert consultation, a total of 89 items consisting of 6 areas (unoccupied behavior, onlooker behavior, solitary play, parallel play, associative play, and cooperative play) were derived, and finally 40 items were composed as preliminary items. The developed evaluation items are expected to be used as an evaluation tool in clinical practice.
