This study analyzes the problems of the Housing Lease Protection Act amendment for strengthening the right to housing and proposes improvement measures. It suggests improving the public announcement method for securing the tenant's resistance and preferential repayment right, adjusting the minimum duration and the number of times the right to request contract renewal is exercised, and establishing a lower limit for rent reduction claims to balance the rights of landlords and tenants.
