Summary

This study investigated the impact of childhood deficiency experiences through cumulative disadvantages on adult depression, and analyzed the mediating effects of socioeconomic status and life satisfaction. The results showed that childhood deficiency experiences negatively affect adult income and life satisfaction, ultimately leading to adult depression through a sequential mediation effect.
