Summary

This study explored the changes in parents and young children during the application of a multi-tiered model-based social-emotional parent education program. The results showed that parents experienced changes in their thoughts and attitudes towards child-rearing and formed more positive relationships with their children, while young children showed improvements in social-emotional behavior. Changes in parents’ parenting behavior influenced the formation of relationships with their children, which served as a foundation for promoting children’s social-emotional competency.
