Summary

This study meta-analyzed importance-performance analysis (IPA) studies of transition education to adulthood for students with developmental disabilities in Korea based on teacher perceptions, to review the importance and performance of subcategories of transition education and to present future approaches. Analyzing 14 studies published since the 2000s, five themes were derived – ‘transition education planning and implementation, career/job, transition cooperation, teacher competency, and student competency’ – and the positioning of detailed items within each theme across quadrants was analyzed.
