Summary

This study analyzes the multicultural teacher education curriculum at the National Institute of Education (NIE) in Singapore to find implications for Korean teacher education. The analysis revealed that Singapore provides pre-service teachers with mandatory multicultural courses, implements multicultural education encompassing all five components of Banks' framework, and emphasizes both intercultural understanding and bilingual education.
