Summary

This study investigated the effects of interaction-promoting parent education on the interaction and communication behavior of children with language developmental delay and their mothers. The results showed that mothers exhibited increased responsive behavior and decreased directive behavior after the parent education, and children showed increased vocalization and speech frequency. These findings suggest the importance of parent education in therapeutic approaches for infants and young children.
